Our story
La Goulée is first and foremost the story of its owners. They met at the College of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière when they were students of the 159th class. A benefit banquet was organized annually by the College Foundation. Like other students at the time, Isabelle and Vincent waited tables. This was their first contact with food service. This event still exists and bears the name of La Goulée. Also, the French word “Goulée” means: large quantity of liquid that one swallows at once. These are the ingredients combined to give a meaningful name to this tavern which evokes happy memories of this period of their life.
